Hi, I'm Tara. 

Born and raised in Kentucky, I've lived on both coasts, but currently split my time between New York City and Washington DC.

I am currently the Director of Digital and Social Media at Paramount where I oversee the marketing social strategy for CBS News, CBS Media Ventures (Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, The Drew Barrymore Show), and CBS Affiliates driving growth, engagement, and viewership across social, linear, and streaming.

I've dabbled in television, magazines, and newspapers, but in true millennial fashion, I believe social media is where the future of journalism resides. I have the ethics and training of an old school journalist, but the mindset of a digital techie working to connect the heart and the soul of the internet. 

When I'm not strategizing around the latest social platform algorithm, you can usually find me at the dog park with my rescue dog Leo.
